Revision sheet looking at the method of collecting data so that it can be entered into a database and how some data can be coded and why.

In this task students create a database after first deciding the data types for each of the fields. Following this they are required to enter, edit and delete records.
- StylePix Photographic (iwChameleon)
This is an extension of a task that I uploaded in 2004. In this version the initial database creation has been extended into three sessions, each with an extension task, and all centred around a single database taking students through creating the database, data entry, adding fields, sorting and searching on single/multiple fields. The data is a bit dated but the processes are still valid.
- School Leisure Centre (A Bunby)
A different slant on the usual database tasks. Based around the construction of a leisure centre information on several of the workers needs to be entered. This is followed by a sorting task and creation of four different queries.
