- Scheme of Work (AQA)
The Scheme of Work available here is taken from the AQA Teacher Guide. - Scheme of Work (L McCormack)
This next Scheme of Work is much more detailed and is in Word format so that it can be customised relatively easily. The document is provided as a zip file for the sake of download speed. - Student Checklist (J Rutherford)
*This has been updated because there was an error recording database information. (16/07/06)
John Rutherford writes:
'I have created this spreadsheet which my current and previous schools are using with the Bus Comm classes. It is basically a checklist of everything the syllabus says they need to know.
When they open it (and they need to enable macros when prompted) they will be able to select the topic they are working on and it will take them to the relevant part of the spreadsheet. They can then put ticks in the check boxes alongside the information they feel they know. They have the space to write notes alongside the check boxes to remind themselves of key points.
By pressing the 'How am I doing?' hyperlink they are taken to a chart which shows their progress - the more the students know, the more the bars turn blue. This provides both the students and the teacher with an easy visual indication of the level of understanding each student has. It also puts ownership in the hands of the student as if they have gaps in their knowledge it is easy for them to find out what they are and put this right.'
The file is an MS Excel spreadsheet and is provided as a zip file for the sake of download speed.
