    This task asks the student to look at information on the Internet concerning the Health & Safety Act. Using this information they will then design and produce a poster to explain the purpose of the Act.

    Design a poster for the event, search for info on DJ's and set it out in columns, create a letterheading and write confirming details of the event.

    Design a poster to advertise the availability of a new student newspaper. Use many of the facilities in a word processor.

    Students must identify the errors in a piece of text. They then type it up correctly and make alterations including the addition of graphics.

    Students must identify each of the correction symbols in the table. Good for a homework.

    Combine import of text with word processing and DTP in this exercise. Create text in notepad then import into DTP package and format.

    Create a poster to advertise this musical. NO CLIPART - use only emphasis created by font style/size and the facilities of a word processor.
  10. Gilbern Cars: Proofreading & Text Processing (A Atkins)
    A passage of text has to be proofread and then correctly entered into a word processor. Further formatting is then necessary.
